Welcome to BCohCo

A learning and development company specialising in Diversity, Inclusion, Cohesion and Equality (DICE).

Our Story

At BCohCo, our mission is build cohesive communities. This is achieved through supporting organisations to create conditions for genuine cultural change. Rather than tick boxes for the sake of legal compliance. We believe when building inclusive and cohesive cultures, embedding Diversity, Inclusion, Cohesion and Equity(DICE) at the heart of personal and professional practice is key.

BCohCo was founded in 2020, when CEO Katie Donovan-Adekanmbi decided to set up a company that places cohesion at the centre. The missing ingredient in most Diversity and Inclusion strategy.

We were particularly interested in understanding what characteristics are protected in The Equalities Act and how? At Nutriri we ‘Break the Cycle of Body Shame’ and challenge ‘Weight Bias. We are embedding our learning from The DICE Program in our Employee Induction, Social Franchise Contract and Facilitator Training. This program is invaluable to any organisation looking to undergo and embed cultural change relating to Diversity, Inclusion, Cohesion and Equality.
— Helen James @ Nutriri

The DICE Champion Programme was informative, concise and delivered with precise content. Completing it has given me the essential tools to challenge unconscious bias among family and friends. It has also given me the confidence to voice any disconcertment relating to; Diversity, Inclusion, Cohesion and Equality in my professional settings, home and in my community. DICE has provided me with the knowledge and resilience to be outspoken and heard. Youssra Tellal @Bristol University Student

I work in Tech, a predominately male industry. Since participating in The DICE programme I have used the skills and knowledge with colleagues and members, by signposting and coaching on DICE. I'd rather challenge fixed or prejudice mindsets than compromise, particularly as the Community Manager here, positive culture building is important in this role. Paul Forster @ SETsquared Bristol
