To level the playing field, we must ask the difficult questions and challenge the status quo.

A couple of weeks after the death of George Floyd, the BLM movement was in full swing and I was feeling overwhelmed. As a white person just starting to realise that “not being racist” wasn’t enough, I didn’t

know how to join the conversation or make a difference without offending or upsetting someone. What Katie provided through the DICE programme was not only a foundation of important information but real life examples that were so helpful in bringing the theory to life. Perhaps most powerful though was the safe space she created in which we could ask questions, work through our changing perceptions, even make mistakes. I left the programme feeling empowered to make a difference and determined to be the change I want to see in the world. I couldn’t recommend Katie, BCoCoh and the DICE programme highly enough.
